Enquiries that used to be chased by hand now answer, chase and progress themselves.
Before
- Every enquiry answered and chased by a person
- Vehicle facts typed in from what the seller said
- Admin that ate the director’s week: “chasing my tail”
- No customer ever engaged without a sales call
After
- Auto-reply on WhatsApp, SMS or email, with consent captured per channel
- Vehicle facts pulled from the official DVLA & DVSA APIs by registration
- Chased and progressed on a schedule; a seven-stage nurture runs over 30 days
- Offer accepted, agreement signed and collection booked self-serve; 35% of sales complete with no human involvement
Thanks to Henry, our website stands out against the crowd, and the backend and workflows he built save us 100+ hours of admin every month. I can focus on running the business instead of chasing my tail.

Questions, answered.
- What exactly was built for Sell Your Cab?
- Three things that work as one: a bespoke Next.js website with a five-step valuation form; a sales workflow that answers every enquiry on WhatsApp, SMS or email, chases it on a schedule and progresses it to a signed purchase agreement and a booked collection; and a back office where the team sees every enquiry staged, scored and with its full history.
- Where do the 35% and 170% come from?
- Both are Sell Your Cab's own reported results, published with the director's approval. 170% is the increase in leads measured over the 60 days after launch against the pre-launch baseline. 35% is the share of completed sales in which no member of the team was involved at any stage. The bars on this page are illustrative shapes of those figures, not telemetry.
- Is the messaging compliant?
- Consent is captured per channel before any message is sent, so every WhatsApp, SMS and email is GDPR- and PECR-compliant from the first reply. Vehicle facts come from the official DVLA and DVSA APIs by registration rather than from what the seller typed, and every message and change is on the record.
- Would this work for a business that isn't buying taxis?
- The pattern is the same for any owner-run business that loses enquiries to slow replies: answer, chase, progress, hand to a human only when needed. We sell it as the Enquiry Engine, from £5,000 +VAT and typically three to four weeks. If a £30-a-month app would do the job for you, we will say so on the call.
